Description

Getting back into the swing of things...very hard...my body is still so friggin tired no matter how hard I try. :shakefist: But enough of personal issues. :aww:
Hey, I just figured out the lil acronym for Double-Edge Dagger is D.E.D. :XD: Go figure :D

The main female cast of the Double-Edge Dagger series that has a personal connection to Wilde in some shape or form whether it be a friendship, attraction, or rivalry. :floating: While there is a very extended cast in the series spanning over many persons, I just felt like pinning down the ones I liked best  They're not in order as I would've hoped so I made a note under their names as to which installment they belong to where they have an important or pivotal role. :phew: In each installment Wilde is a different age, for a look at his default design in those sequels, glance here :poke: [link]

 Now, here are the girls

Top Left- Selene
Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 3
A demon fox Wilde rescues that becomes his guide for the Netherworld. Selene is a monx zunon with a tail that's almost twice as long as her body which can support her weight. She, herself, has much of the innocence of a child's personality but also has a keen sense of a morality. While obviously not carrying a weapon, Selene has a few natural abilities that are equipped to her size as she can outmaneuver nearly any attack. She also has a special small energy ray that can emit from the glowing crystal on her forehead, though it's effects are usually minimal. Imbued with an array of knowledge along with quick swiftness, this special creature plays a key role to the future of both worlds with a secret lying within her heart.

Top Right- White Blossom's Bloom
Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 3
Cameo Appearance- Double-Edge-Dagger 2
A zunon of mystery that serves the Augur Samar in the web of prophesies surrounding the future of both the Mortal Plain and Netherworld. Bloom, as she is mainly referred to, is a silent unyielding individual whom Wilde catches a glimpse of from time to time. Their confrontations fuel Wilde's ego as he believes women are following him out of attraction, though his conversations with Bloom are mostly one-sided when she lingers long enough for him to say something. Her weapon of choice is a Breaker Hand-Rifle along with a concealed shurikan. She's apparently very compassionate to all living creatures and also travels between the worlds like Wilde does, but what her true nature and intentions are remain unknown.

Middle Left- Chantis
Prominent Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 3
Cameo Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 1&2
A very dear person to Wilde, Chantis is perhaps the most influential individual in his life and yet she is only ever shown through Wilde's memories. She was Wilde's third keeper, being very positive and uplifting to the young halfbreed. While gentle, she was an excellent fighter that could harness simple spells and wielded a pair of double-edged green-handled daggers which would later become Wilde's trademark weapon. Even though Chantis met a tragic end, the memories of her advice and affection still drive Wilde down the right course when he finds himself lost.

Middle Right- Gracela
Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 1
Cameo Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 3
Wilde's 9th keeper whom graduated the Chrono Training Academy with hopes of being a soldier rather than the babysitter to a troublesome demon. Due to Wilde's actions, it was deliberated that he needed proper management, and so Gracela was selected before being assigned to a Chrono G. Team. Gracela is a very upstart individual that tries to act even more mature than she really is; however, the constant bickering with Wilde usually brings her down to his level until she realizes her foolishness after an embarrassing action or comment. She uses a specialty made crossbow fitted with rabid fire that conceals a small pistol in the arm grip. Over time she begins to become friends with Wilde as she slowly understands what kind of life he leads and learns that the body of a young boy does not necessarily mean he doesn't have the heart of something greater.

Bottom Left- Mesa
Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 3
Guardian of the Hallavane pass in the Netherworld, Wilde had to defeat her in battle in order to proceed. This defeat left a brand of discouragement on her pride as he didn't kill her and so she returned later to reclaim her honor in yet another fight. After he's victorious, she expresses her epiphany= he beat her the first time when she was doing her job, the second time when she was seeking vengeance, and so thus fate has destined them to be together for only one stronger can she ever wed...much to Wilde's horror. While he manages to escape her cuddling grip on a couple of occasions, she turns out to be useful and helps in times of crisis. Her weapon of choice is a large bladed-boomerang that has a centered grip and massive weights on both ends, making it capable of breaking through hard rock and knocking opponents afar. She can also swing the weapon in a sort of elliptical fashion which brings about strong gusts that bring opponents in close for a solid strike. Mesa's overly affectionate and slightly flirtatious, though her passion will always reside in the battlefield and her heart out to Wilde's hesitant taking.

Bottom Middle- Miranda
Appearance- Double Edge Dagger 2
Wilde's assigned partner, Miranda is a very strict individual with a short temper, though she never lowers herself to Wilde's level. Always one to follow conduct and standard procedures, Miranda always seemed to be more of by-the-book than on-a-whim which leaves her partnership with the demon very rigid. During the story, it is revealed that she was ordered by her superiors to spy on Wilde on the presumed belief that he has turned against the Chrono Republic in favor of his darker side, allying himself with the rebels. As events play out and the corruption of the Chrono comes into view, Miranda still tries to hold onto the morals that based the government since it was the morals her father fought and died for. She uses a bow staff that has integrated electric panels on the ends, though it's rare for her to activate them as the level of stunning can sometimes be too severe. In the end she finds a certain respect for Wilde, though she states that she resents him since now she has to find her own path rather than a premeditated set of standards.

Bottom Right- Regelle
Appearance- Double-Edge Dagger 2
A rebel lieutenant from Zenith, Regelle was put in charge of watching Wilde after his capture but then became his ally when he stayed behind to help during the demon storm. She's very witty, often cracking jokes about various things and is viewed as a sort of kid sister by many whom live in the rebel headquarters. She despises the Chrono whom were responsible for the deaths of her siblings and acquisitions Wilde into helping the group vindicate the civilians who've been oppressed by the Republic's rule. She uses a pair of slightly twisted sai which she attacks with quick swiping methods. During the siege on Zenith, she battles Miranda until Wilde breaks them up as more pressing matters erupt. In the end, she finds gratification in the fall of the Chrono Republic and the belief that now everyone can rebuild and live anew.
