Hum...still gettin used to the new digs of dA's update, but it seems rather nice, more organized than it was before

Oh and it's the Peanut Festival! Originally something orchestrated by these senior ladies years ago for the community to kind of get together has grown into an interesting phenomenon in which people all the way from Savannah, Hilton Head, even South Carolina come to little Brooklet for the parade, games, and variety of cooked peanuts. It's the busiest time of year for the small town, which is why I make sure never to have to go grocery shopping at the IGA there or else get caught in traffic

An interesting thing once you think about it...I don't have a hometown, I have a home county. I spent 5 years in Stilson, 2 years in Brooklet, then 6 years on the outer rim of Brooklet, but I live between Stilson and Brooklet, the year change was because of district zoning...so uh...hum...what do ya'll think?

Anyways, back to the time at hand. Where've I been? First it was busy with the new indoor kitten WHICH we discovered the next day after Craig but him home that he wasn't a him...he was a her.

Luckily we had just started calling it Dodge for like...7 hours? before taking her to the Vet and discovering the anatomical truth

Since then, we changed her name and she's now accustomed to it...drum roll...her name is Little Bit.
Com:

...

Why Little Bit? Because she has a little bitty meow but a lotta bit of tail. Her tail is the size of her body. At first her tail was 9 inches with her weighing at 2 lbs. Now it's 10 1/2 and she's up to 3 1/2 lbs. An inch per pound...roughly?

Who knows...Anyways, I'll post some pics of her on here later this evening

Com:

As for projects I'm currently doing some commission art for Craig. Which is tricky cause he's picky

But, a challenge nonetheless. I'm also writing a short-story novella for FF7. I was inspired from the works of
The Maiden Who Travels the Planet which starred Aerith after her death and her journey through the Lifestream while the rest of the game continued its story, and
On the Way to a Smile which depicted three separate stories that occurred at different intervals but covered some questions we had and starred Denzel, Tifa, and Barret in their own respected story. Seeing as how Advent Children pretty much resolved everything with Cloud, Crisis Core gave us a look at the life of Zack, and Dirge of Cerberus gave a happy ending to Vincent, I thought it would be appropriate to have a novella centered around Red XIII. It depicts the events after Advent Children, his quest for a mate, his alliance with the WRO, and what he did during the year before and throughout Dirge of Cerberus. Kind of an untold tail which I want to put in 2 new characters which will play minor roles but the rest will all be of the main cast and characters we're familiar with...all in all, Craig's read most of it and says I'm staying true to Red's character, which I'm EXTREMELY happy for

It's so easy to make a character act out sorts when put into a fandom, but this is a novella, not a fandom, though it's made cause I'm a fan of the franchise and uh...nevermind

Com:

I'm more than half way through with it and when I'm done I'll post it in sections with some art pieces for each chapter. Wish I could do a manga of the whole thing, but I don't have that kind of time and attention span
Com:

Anywho, we're revamping the living room..by that I mean actually organizing everything

DVD's are tricky cause of sequels and such ya gotta leave spaces or otherwise move everything down one after you get a new one. Meh, at least we have a good idear of what we'll be getting in the next few months. Speaking of which
Iron Man DVD release date= September 30th According to Sam Goody's computers. Can't wait for movie night

Com:

I know, I saw it in theaters, but hey! Theaters don't have smoothies

I make da smoothies, with some nachos and popcorn and by movie's end gain 5 lbs
Com: I thought you already did

Now then, I'm gonna make an effort to come online at least once a week if not more, so no shooting at me cause I shoot back

Anyway, TELL ME HOW YA'LL BEEN!!
